Copic Challenge 31

Copic Challenge 31 is based on autumn colours, the selection of colours to use were YR68, G94 and Y38, but as usual I don’t have them! Hopefully I will get the other two sets soon. So I have used YR04, G21, Y21, E33 and E35 to use for my design.
Only thing is this morning I felt very sad, a lady had ran over a cat and I helped her to take it to the vets, but sadly it did not survive. Being an animal lover its still upsetting, even though it’s not your own pet, and like I said to the lady, we stayed with him and tried to do the best we could. My thoughts go out to the cat’s owner, I hope I do not upset any animal lovers by putting this on my blog.

Challenge Penny Black 66 and Pollycraft 24

This week I am entering one card for two challenges, Penny Black Sketch 66 set out by Domi and Pollycraft Challenge 24 is to use black/white and one other colour. So I thought this was a great chance to do these challenges as it’s my daughter birthday soon and she loves these colours but most of all purple is her favourite. I have used Bazzil Bling card stock, cricut machine for cutting out the fancy background shapes, copic pens Roo V17 100, flowers and ribbon I found amongst my stash.

Copic Challenge 28

Copic Challenge 28 was to use E47, BG23, R85 but I only had one of these colours which is E47 so I also used B12,B23 and R27. I had to make another male birthday card so again I used the bear stamp but this time he is a golfer, the bear is such a versatile stamp this is why I enjoy using it.

Papertake Sketch 22

For the Papertake Sketch 22, I have followed this sketch to design a birthday card for my husband’s mate who is also a volunteer at the same heritage railway. This time I made the bear out to be a signalman, I added the waistcoat stamp and modified the hat to suit it. I coloured the stamped images using copic pens, YG63, G21, BV23, C7 and R11.

Challenge 26

I have been asked to make a 1st birthday card, so I have designed it so I can enter Copic Challenge 26.
The copic pens I used are BG05,B05,R59,G14,G99,R00 which where great colours to work with as the card is for a boy. The bear and balloons image is from Daisy & Dandelion stamps and I have coloured the wood number 1 with the coordinating copic pen. To make this is even more special I have continued to decorate the inside, to create a memorable card.

Challenge #40

Image

Inside

Whiff of Joy Challenge #40, was to use any Whiff of Joy stamp and follow a sketch set out by Donalda. I was asked to make an anniversary card for a friend, so this is the card I have made for this challenge. I used sitting summer Willow stamp, Oakley and the bench stamp is from magnolia, I have coloured the images with copic pens using (C1,C3,RV21,RV23,Y11,E31,E35,R00). The cardstock is The Luxury Stack by DCWV, and pink and brown pearlescent card. I used my cricut machine for the matting and layering shapes and added punched out hearts. I made some roses out of matching ribbon and finally I attached a silver heart charm, and continued the theme to the inside of the card.

Copic Challenge 16

It’s my granddaughter’s 1st birthday this Friday and this is the card I have made for her and entered it in the Copic challenge 16. I did not have the colours they suggested, so the ones I used to colour the magnolia image were similar which were RV13, RV23, Y02, Y11, E31, E35 and E21. The cardstock is pink bazzil and I found a piece of two toned patterned card, I have also used pink and yellow ribbon and fixed them together. I used my cricut machine to cut out the frames for matting and laying the image and for the wording. To finish the card I have added silver charms, and yellow brads in the middle of the flowers.
