The Easter Bunny takes the train
I am organizing the Easter Egg Treasure Hunt at our local heritage railway station, Midsomer Norton South. The event will consist of a number of written clues, which will lead the children to different areas of the station where the answers can be found. The last clue will lead them to the buffet coach where they will receive their Easter egg and easter snack. The coach is going to be decorated with Easter bunnies and eggs that I have made using my cricut machine and other crafting accessories.

Sometimes I like to paint and lately I have been experimenting with using acrylics on canvas. My first attempt was a picture of two poppies, when my mum saw it she asked me to do a flower design for her. She saw a flower she liked, I said leave it to me I will see what I can do. So this is what I achieved.

About Me

- I live just outside Bath, Somerset and have two daughters. My eldest Zoe is 27 and has three children, and my other daughter Natalie is 25 and is planning to get married next year. I am a voluntary worker at a Heritage railway station in Midsomer Norton, where I help in the buffet coach, attend events and potter around in the gardens. My husband has built the signal box, so I am involved in that too.

In the mornings when my husband gets up for work Pepper just stays asleep, as soon as I get up all hell brakes loose. She ‘s jumping around brings me one of her teddy’s, this continues until I feed her. Then she decides to start all over again only this time its for me to take her out for a walk or a drag as the case might be for me, although she is 6 years old she still acts like a puppy. Then for most of the day she is happy so I can get on with making cards.. Mind you I cannot grumble she tries to be helpful – she gets the post, takes the peg bag outside for me, wants to carry things in from the car when I have done shopping and even brings me my slippers. Could not ask for a better companion.
This is really beautiful and I love the colours. The ribbon across the card is so lovely the co-ordinated colour with the design
